I know this is a little late, but will try to keep you up on the upcoming meeting dates

this meeting was the one before Mother's Day and us "mother's" all got a flower from Pres. John.

Mary Aly, from Child Care Learning was a guest and a possible new member.
Rick Benson, our AG, was also present to present some awards from the District and to let us know that
we did well with even submitting some of our accomplishments for awards.

Fun 'n Fines went to assist in Kevin's walk for Autism and we enhanced the contribution up to $300
he was very grateful.

Updates on meeting dates:
5/26--NO MEETING--Craft show on Sat.  PLEASE MAKE SURE AND SIGNUP FOR A SHIFT!!

6/2--Dani, our exchange student and our for Interact will be on hand

6/9---meeting

6/16--NO MEETING---ROSE SALE    Please make sure to check with your partner so you can sell alot!!!

6/20---Installation dinner at Shore and Country Club---see Frank to make your reservation

6/23--NO MEETING

Our speakers were to WHS students, Elizabeth deMoll and Purvi Sarup, who are working on a project for
Indian girls in Kannauj, India.  the project, Project ASHA (hope)  will be to assist girls with technology studies.
They have designed the project for 10 girls, between the ages of 14-17 so that they will be able to have computers
and training. They are raising money thru bake sales and such and will be going to India this summer to get the
project started.  At our board meeting we decided to give them $500 toward computer equipment and toward their
budget of $8000 for the 2 year start of the project.
