2007-08 Projects

Our projects this year include: "The Fallen Hero's Last Wish Foundation"--which raises money for the families of fallen service men and women (i.e. for costs of every day living and for scholarships)...we raised more than $500!
- We worked with Senora Carreras and woman, name Sas Carrey, to raises money to send five Mongolian children to college (in Mongolia--college costs $1,500 for four years for one student)
- we continued our sponsorship of a young girl in Haiti (donating money)
- our current project is The Starlight Starbright Foundation (we are raising money for this foundation, which hosts "fun days" for children who are constantly in the hospital and their families; and also works to provide these families with information about the child's disease, etc.)
We will now be meeting at 7:45 am. in room 326 (Senor Webster's room) the first Tuesday of each month {at least until mid-May} and one Thursday evening each month at 6:00pm until 6:30pm {in the same room}.
